Questions and answers
Short answers on pricing, timing, scope and areas.
What is after-builders cleaning?
After-builders cleaning, also called post-construction or builders’ cleaning, is the final clean once building or refurbishment work has finished. It removes dust, residue, stickers and protective film so a new apartment, unit or office can be handed over.
How do you price a job?
Every job is quoted after a walk-through. The price depends on the size of the space, the amount of dust and residue, access, and the date you need it finished. You receive the fixed price in writing before any work starts.
How long does an after-builders clean take?
It depends on the size of the space, how much dust and residue the builders left, and how many people we send. We confirm the time on the walk-through, before you accept the quote.
Where do you work?
We work across north Dublin and Fingal: Balbriggan, Rush, Lusk, Skerries, Donabate, Swords, Malahide, Howth, Santry, Finglas, Clontarf, Castleknock and Blanchardstown, plus Dublin city. If your space is nearby but not on the list, ask.
Do you bring your own equipment and products?
Yes. Crews arrive with their own equipment and cleaning products.
Can you work around our opening hours or site schedule?
Yes. Tell us when the space is free and we agree a schedule. Our crews work daytime hours, 08:00 to 17:00. Ask us if you need something different.
What is not included in an after-builders clean?
Removal of building waste and skips, repairs, repainting and restoration of damaged surfaces are not included. We note any problem surfaces on the walk-through so there are no surprises.
Do you clean apartment blocks and common areas?
Yes. We clean lobbies, stairwells, corridors, lifts and bin areas for property managers and owners’ management companies, on a regular schedule or as a one-off.
How do I request a quote?
See the contact page, call 089 483 8780 or email urecheionelalexandru@gmail.com. Send the address, the type of space and the date you need it done.
What is the difference between a deep clean and an end-of-tenancy clean?
A deep clean is a thorough one-off clean of a whole home or unit, beyond what a regular clean covers. An end-of-tenancy clean is a deep clean done when a tenancy ends, usually against a checklist from the landlord or letting agent. We agree the checklist and the price on a walk-through.
Do you guarantee the return of a tenancy deposit?
No. The deposit is decided by the landlord or letting agent, not by us. We clean to the checklist agreed beforehand and check the result against it.
